BYE-BYE BOREDOM!
Imagine being able to swing open your front door and find a world of engaging events and activities awaiting you. Whether it’s a game of cards, a concert, lecture, fitness class, book club, cooking demo, or conversation group, you’ll kiss boredom goodbye. Our team goes the extra mile to offer a variety of opportunities, all inspired by our residents’ interests. Opportunities to make friends and build neighborly bonds abound, which is the best part of community life, the people. Days that were previously a bit ho-hum are suddenly exchanged for days that are saturated with meaning and connection. It’s simple, when you come to PineCrest, prepare to say bye-bye to boredom.
DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE?
The lifestyle and routine you develop at PineCrest is uniquely yours. Join in on the things that ignite your curiosity and interest and skip over the things that aren’t quite a fit for you. Ideally, residents not only get involved in the lifestyle opportunities at PineCrest but they help drive them. The more we hear from our residents, the more robust our lifestyle offerings become. Even better, we love when our residents bring their talents to the table. Perhaps you are a musician, cook, artist, or book lover that can lead a club or host an event. The sky is the limit! So, do you have to participate? No. But once you get here, we think the fun and excitement might be irresistible!
DITCH THE CHORES!
Just imagine…
- No more sweeping or mopping!
- No more dusting knick-knacks!
- No more changing your sheets!
- No more cooking dinner!
- No more weeding the garden!
- No more pushing a lawnmower in the Texas heat!
- No more home repairs! (Isn’t it time to retire from the “honey-do list?”)
Come on now, doesn’t that sound sweet? Give us a call!
UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS.
Our charter requires that you or your spouse be at least 55 for the two of you to join us at PineCrest. And while we’re owned and operated by Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), you needn’t be Methodist or religious at all to come and enjoy the full benefits of this community. One of those benefits is that every staff member is always ready to go the extra mile as a result of our ICARE program. ICARE stands for integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence, and all our staff members have personally committed to demonstrate an ICARE principle every single day.

This is a big decision, one that deserves a thorough once over. Just let us know when you’re coming and we will be glad to show you around.
