Dictionary.com defines friend as “a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.” Merriam-Webster defines it as “one attached to another by affection or esteem.” But, I think when we think of a friend, we think of someone we love and who loves us because we choose to do so. Someone we have mutual respect for. Someone to laugh with, cry with and just be ourselves with.
One of our residents, Mr. Bill Moreau, was recently asked to write a little something for a newsletter that was sent out to all the residents at PineCrest. It was so good, we wanted to share.
It can be very overwhelming when you begin searching for senior living options. Type of community, cost factors, amenities offered, location, access to medical care, the list can go on and on. With all of these different aspects, it is difficult to decide which ones need to be at the top of your list.
The first thing most people ask when looking for a senior living community is, “What will it cost?” This is a very important question, but one that goes deeper than just a dollar amount. While the cost is important, value must be a consideration also. PineCrest is a Continuing Care Retirement Community or CCRC.
