I was born and reared in Angelina County, but I moved to Longview in 2013 to downsize and live near my eldest son and his family. In December 2018, my son got a new job and his family moved to New Braunfels. I chose to return to Lufkin and settled into a beautiful independent living apartment at MRC PineCrest.

Friends,Events, Trips, and Much More

I was instantly welcomed into the community and made to feel right at home. I have so enjoyed making new friends and reuniting with prior friends. I have really enjoyed the social events, the field trips, the fine dining, the exercise classes, the worship services and the individual personal care from housekeeping and maintenance.

Care Beyond What is Required

The COVID-19 Pandemic has certainly changed our lives at PineCrest. We have had to spend more time in our individual apartments, but in spite of that, we have been so blessed with excellent food, personalized care,and many special activities to help keep us mentally and physically involved.All of our caregivers have gone above and beyond their requirements to give of themselves to make our separation much easier.
