PineCrest has served the older adults of the Piney Woods for over 30 years. A group of local visionaries worked to see the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) come to fruition in 1992. Located in Lufkin, Texas, the community stands alone as the only faith-based, non-profit senior living retirement community in the area. PineCrest is a part of Methodist Retirement Communities, a ministry whose origin dates back to 1962.
The campus boasts of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Home Health, as well as both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation in Skilled Nursing. No other retirement community in the region provides the full continuum of aging services on one campus like PineCrest.
